The driver of this impressive TD Haulage rig has no trouble off-loading materials from his truck. Both bodies on the 6x4 Kenworth truck and 4-axle trailer are equipped with a state-of-the-art tipping system that will safely lift them in excess of 50 degrees and lower them back down again in a very quick time.

Built by Domett Truck and Trailers in Mt Maunganui, the rig boasts a quality NZH hydraulic package consisting of a Hydrocar PTO, pump and cab controls, Oilpath twin-spool control valve, Delta raised trunnion twin-underbody cylinders on the truck, and a 10-stage NZH multi in the tip over-axle trailer. In spite of the additional lifting equipment built into the front bogey, the trailer tare is still an excellent 6820kg.

The rig, which operates around the North Island, is designed for multiple uses, from carting top loaded chip to cut timber loaded through the curtain sides.

The TD Haulage fleet now has well in excess of 100 truck and trailer units, making it one of the largest independent fleets of NZH hydraulic equipment in the country.
