
Grant moved on to FarmRight as national product manager for combines and large balers after some years selling agricultural machinery with Timaru Motors.
A certified Brake Examiner under the pre-2005 system, he then joined Transport Specialties in 1996, selling axles, suspensions and brakes. In 2005 he joined NZH as South Island manager.
He believes his career experience is perfectly suited for him to help take NZH forward with the new addition to its portfolio of products and services: “Over the years I’ve learnt to truly understand customer needs. I listen to what they want and can advise them as to what is the most practical solution to their requirements.” He says it is important to get to know customers personally so he can understand their business. “These relationships must always be based on honesty, integrity and commitment.”
